【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheoverallthermaltransmissioncoefficientsduetothecombinedactionofconduction,convection,andradiationfordryspecimensoftextilefabrics,battings,andothermaterialswithinthelimitsspecifiedin1.2.Itmeasuresthetimerateofheattransferfromawarm,dry,constant-temperature,horizontalflat-plateupthroughalayerofthetestmaterialtoarelativelycalm,coolatmosphere.1.2Forpracticalpurposes,thistestmethodislimitedtodeterminationsonspecimensoffabrics,layeredfabricassemblies,andbattingshavingthermaltransmittances(U2,asdefinedin3.1.2)withinarangeof0.7to14W/m2Kandthicknessesnotinexcessof50mm.1.3Thecoefficientsobtainedapplystrictlyonlytotheparticularspecimenstestedandforthespecifiedthermalandenvironmentalconditionsofeachtest.Thistestmethodgivesvaluesthatarevalidforcomparisonunderthesameconditionsoftest,thatis,withthespecifiedairvelocity,temperaturedifferencebetweenthewarmplateandthecoolair,andairgapformeasuringcoolairtemperature.1.4Thevaluesstatedinmetricunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Conversionfactors,forthermalconductanceandconductivityandthermalresistanceandresistivity,tootherunitsincommonusearegivenin1-51.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
