【摘要】:Differentialscanningcalorimetryprovidesarapidmethodforthedeterminationofenthalpicchangesaccompanyingfirst-ordertransitionsofmaterials.Thistestmethodisusefulforqualitycontrol,specificationacceptance,andresearch.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationoftheenthalpy(heat)offusion(melting)andcrystallizationbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC).1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletosolidsamplesingranularformorinanyfabricatedshapefromwhichanappropriatespecimencanbecut,ortoliquidsamplesthatcrystallizewithintherangeoftheinstrument.Note,however,thattheresultsmaybeaffectedbytheformandmassofthespecimen,aswellasbyotherexperimentalconditions.1.3Thenormaloperatingtemperaturerangeisfrom-120to600176;C.Thetemperaturerangecanbeextendeddependingupontheinstrumentationused.1.4Thistestmethodisgenerallyapplicabletothermallystablematerialswithwelldefinedendothermicorexothermicbehavior.1.5Computerorelectronicbasedinstruments,techniques,ordatatreatmentequivalenttothoseinthistestmethodmayalsobeused.1.6SIunitsarethestandard.1.7TheenthalpyofmeltingandcrystallizationportionofISO11357-3isequivalenttothisstandard.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
