【摘要】:ThispartofBS4875specifiesperformancerequirementsforthestrength,durabilityandstabilityofthestructureoftablesandtrolleysfordomesticandcontractuse.Itdoesnotapplytokitchenfurniture,whichiscoveredbyBSEN1153:1996.NOTE1Therequirementsofthisstandardareintendedtodemonstratetheabilityoftheitemtogivesatisfactoryserviceinitsintendedenvironment.Conformitywiththestandarddoesnotensurethatstructuralfailurewillnoteventuallyoccurasaresultofhabitualmisuseorafteranexcessivelylongperiodofservice.NOTE2TestmethodsfromBSEN1730arespecifiedwhereappropriate.NOTE3Thespecifiedtestscanbecarriedoutonglasstoppedtablesortrolleys,butthetestsdonotguardagainstaccidentaldamageandattentionisdrawntotheadditionalrequirementsfortablesandtrolleyscontainingglasswhicharecontainedinBS7376.NOTE4Ifatableortrolleyincorporatesstoragefacilities,referenceshouldalsobemadetoBS4875-7,BS4875-8andBSEN1727.
