【摘要】:Thistestmethodiscapableofyieldingduplicatetestdata,in20minorless,forasimplecarbonblackcontentdetermination.Thistestmethodissuitableformanufacturingqualitycontrol,technicalservice,andresearchwork.Forrefereerequirements,thenumberofreplicatemeasurementsisincreased.Alternatively,acontrolsampleofknowncarbonblackcontentistestedwiththeunknownsample.TestMethodD1603isavailableforrefereetestingshouldtheinvolvedpartiessodesire.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofblackpolyethylenecompoundscontainingchannelorfurnaceblack.Itisnotapplicabletothermalblack.1.2Thistestmethodisnotsuitableforplasticsthatcharonpyrolysisandshouldnotbeattemptedforplasticsthatgeneratecorrosivefumesonpyrolysis.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection7.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
